National Geographic Resolution
The National Geographic Resolution is a state-of-the-art polar expedition vessel that was launched in 2021. The ship is fully stabilized and built with the highest ice classification (PC5 Category A) enabling it to carry intrepid travelers to some of the most remote and inaccessible corners of the globe. One of her most distinctive features is the innovative X-Bow®—a patented design that helps to minimize motion with less traditional bow impact.
Equally remarkable is her capacity: National Geographic Resolution accommodates just 138 guests, reflecting a dedication to intimate, high-caliber expedition experiences over sheer size. Her interiors, inspired by Scandinavian design and thoughtfully outfitted with luxurious details, are so welcoming they could be considered a destination in their own right. Yet, the ship’s true focus lies beyond her walls—with expansive windows that frame the pristine surroundings and a full suite of expedition tools designed to immerse guests in the world outside.
All cabins on the National Geographic Resolution face outside with large windows, private bathroom, and climate controls. Cabins are equipped with expedition command centers with iPad tablets, multiple electrical and USB outlets, TVs, with on demand entertainment, phone, Wi-Fi, clock, barometers, hygrometers, vanity mirror, mini refrigerator, small safe, ice bucket, glasses, hair dryer, reading lights and National Geographic Atlas. Luxury linens and pillows. Bathrooms outfitted with Rain showers & hand held shower, botanically inspired shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion. Complimentary insulated water bottles. Balcony cabins have hammocks, chairs and table.
