West Greenland offers visitors the chance to visit colorful villages to experience the local culture and search for humpback whales feeding along the massive icebergs. It is home to the Illulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage site excellent for hiking and photographing icebergs the size of city blocks.

Most trips begin and/or end in Kangerlussuaq, accessible on scheduled flights via Iceland or Denmark or charter flights from North America.
