The Weddell Sea is off the eastern side of the Antarctic Peninsula. It is heavily iced and offers beautiful landscapes with sea ice as far as the eye can see, large tabular icebergs, and large penguin colonies. It is home to Snow Hill Island, where there is an emperor penguin colony. This is the more off the beaten track side of the Peninsula.

Weddell Sea voyages are accessed from Ushuaia, Argentina.
